A Painting of the Villainess as a Young Lady

The initial concept intrigued me, but I've observed that authors often struggle to accurately portray complex issues like depression. In this particular case, the protagonist's isolation in a separate building, surrounded by unsupportive family members who constantly intruded on her life, didn't quite ring true. Even when she discovered something she enjoyed, the intrusion persisted.

If the story had explored her interactions with her family in a more nuanced and realistic manner, it would have greatly enhanced the novel for me. Initially, the protagonist's self-awareness and subtle character development were engaging, but the lack of depth in depicting her depression and underdeveloped supporting characters made the narrative feel somewhat one-dimensional.

Let me know if it’s decent if anyone gets the time, I’ll keep it in the library for now.

I love the main character,she's very unpredictable,mysterious,and especially very loyal to her lover.I think she has her own overpowered cheats that even the system can't detect or she is a powerful existence of a transmigrator girl herself.I can't wait for the next chapter

Couldn't continue this beyond chapter 8. FMC is a nihilistic, unlikable cringey, depressed teen kid who transformed into a NEET hikikomori, shamelessly complaining (NOT in a funny way) about her family while burning their money for nothing.

Ffs, she got maids and all, with no pressure of a political marriage, and then this... "my family don't love me, wahhh!"...? Am I supposed to feel sorry for her?
