Two plain Jacks, one annoying and one scheming. An idiotic story that might not be sweet.

The characters are those you are familiar with, the story is one you have never seen before. 

T/N: The reason why it says “The characters are those you are familiar with, the story is one you have never seen before”, is because this novel is actually part of a series, and it was the last one to come out. Wang Chao is super popular and appears a lot in the other novels.

Wang Chao and Xie Zhuxing are also the side characters who appear in Mr. Yuan is Always Unhappy a lot (also on CG!! Translated by my friend crispyfry :))

    Let me preface this by saying that this in my opinion above the level of junkfood, but not at sushi level and definitely not at wagyu beef level (for now). I really don't think that this is special in some way as it is the tried and true time travel and video game story. I find the MC to be pretty enjoyable as he hasn't been a complete ass hole from the start even though he seeks revenge in a certain sense. He thinks with long term benefits and he isn't ridiculously OP from the start. Characters are very lackluster though. The side character roommates rarely show up and they are typical to say the least. NPC characters which I would hope have more personality seem more like NPCs which isn't bad, but it kinda sucks. I think my biggest problem is this question: Why not make the genre a wuxia or xianxia mix instead of making it a video game one? To me, it seems as if replacing the scenes with IRL with more in game stuff would be just fine as IRL doesn't seem to matter much anyways.

    I will give this novel points for some originality in the system but that is all O can give it. This story as of so far is exceedingly average, the mc is boring and doesn't take any initiative to use his system unless it figuratively slaps him in the face. I am by no means saying this is a bad novel as it isn't, it's just meh in every since of the word.

    Slightly slow to start, but genuinely beautiful writing and a very well thought out and intriguing plot line, with an interesting main character. There is very little to bash about this novel, and very few that ive read previously can match it in terms of quality. Highly recommend.

    A shamless 5 star rewiev from me ! :D I have absolutely no plan as of yet for what this story is going to turn into. I have only decided on a few key elements on how the world will work and how stuff will be separated.I also have to research some mod packs with a heavy progression systems now and see what would make sense. It's a huge hassle since I don't want my story to just be bullcrap thrown in a big pile. I could half-way everything and I think it would still be ok... but I hope I wont need to do that. I will try to write some more when break comes. I have made 2 chapters as of now and I will probably write only one more. Thank you for taking a look at my story :)

    Starting chapters look good. The idea of the story is from the card game anime which makes it interesting. Overall, it's a good start. I will continue to read to see how the story will turn.
