It matters but not like this, maybe in LN. Look at the pace, first 339 is mostly focusing on Gon and Killua, while Kurapika's goals were 80% done. Then, all of a sudden, behold, another part of the world that's even bigger without any mention in the previous 339 chapters. Felt like it was forced you know.

The ant king arc was good, but to bad the ant king died at the end, he was born to quickly and died to quickly.
And look at our current state, sensei is in bad health condition, and looking at the pace, the 'ship prince fight' arc probably take over 200 chapter to finish by this pace (I thought the fight almost gone to climax until the introduction of newer groups, and seeing how we barely see the middle floors, who knows, maybe I'm right in over 200 chapters, but ai'm worry about his health)
