The Blooming Violet in the Back Garden

This should be labelled as a tragedy. There is nothing fantasy about this world because the realities of our modern world ring true in this story too much

The poor girl can't catch a break, I'm not kidding, she is being abused, gaslit and undermined for the sake of being this 'holy person and taking on a role she didn't even want. She has no one who is truly on her side because everyone is hurting her in some kind of way.

40 chapters (of the manhwa) and it was all doom and gloom with hardly any grand moments because shortly after it she was fearful or crying. I can't even blame her for being weak because no one is helping this poor child address her trauma.

It may get better as the story goes on... but seriously... 40 episodes of tragedy was too much for me. One thing after the other like the author thought of all the worst things that could happen to a person mentally and physically and threw them into this story.

I also read that in the story the 2nd son does try to sexually assault her as well.

The ONLY thing this story has going for it is that the art is pretty

There are a lot of plot holes in the story and the worst character development, why the knights kill those women with whom they have already slept in the name of bandit extermination, they also try to kill a 10-year-old for the exact same reason. A saint awakens not to save someone but to protect herself by killing someone and those knights accept it and kneel down and get away with the wrongdoings as if nothing happened. Funny part she became all merciful Saint who has same authority as a king and forget the sacrifice of her sisters, she was then adopted by the same person who ordered those knights to kill bandits and still frown over the handsomeness of her brother. The author is trying to put the protagonist to all the tragedies they could find without a reason or character development
This is just pure shit story
