I'm a bit disappointing so far, the premise is interesting but that's so far the extent of it. I get that he has his past life memories but this takes it to ridiculous proportions and that's why the main char is very boring, he perfect in all sense, has ridiculous memory, has courage, knows infinite knowledge of, spirits, cultivation, alchemy, martial arts, archery; he can even sweeten any girl, and so on, no flaw... BORING! Oh and I forgot, it seams he doesn't even need to sleep, yay. Just imagine, this guy remembers everything he ever learned... does anyone even remember what he learned in school to that extent? what you read in any book? So we also have to add perfect recall, genius and hardworking to his flawless self. Also, it seams it's going the harem route.
Actually he does have a flaw and that's also another reason why I dislike the MC. In the beginning, he was arrogant but still forthcoming, he helped his friends and treated them well, same for family and potential allies and for the most part hr was only disrespectful and pedantic against those he had a bone to pick and even then he measured himself since he knew he was still weak and vulnerable, after 90ch or so, arrogance has become his main characteristic, he's even a prick with the lord of the city, the father of his loved one... likewise, I think I read him say "thank you" once or twice and as for sorry, not even once (actually only once but he wasn't really apologising). I find this attitude incredibly annoying, being an ass is justified because he's the MC? and it irritates me even more so since he's not a 14 year old kid, adding up his age he's over 200 years old apparently (not sure thou) so acting like a hotblooded teenager does not make sense
It's still entertaining so I'll have to see how the author decides to progress with it, I just hope something other than showing the mc is awesome takes place or this is doomed imo.

This is mainly for the guy calling this a Mary Sue Naruto Fan-fiction. You sir, are one of a few closed minded people that just probably thinks everything is first originally a manga that gets adapted into anime. This is a Chinese Manhua based off a novel. Better get that thought of it being a fan-fiction out of your head because the story isn't even close to similar to Naruto. It is, in my opinion, that it is similar to other novels such as the ones BlueTear73 listed. However, I will agree with other reviewers that the art is similar.

Aside from my rant, I enjoy the manhua very much. Chapters are extremely short though, so I recommend reading it once it hits 100 or something. It's at a pretty decent amount right now, so I'm content.

If you think most of the characters from here don't look like Naruto characters then I don't know what to tell you, I'm not saying it's bad and I'm not even a fan of Naruto to begin with, but I will admit that the character designs are a BLATANT rip off of Naruto ones (well some of them at least)

People keep saying this is rip off Naruto.
1.) The story is not even remotely close to Naruto.
2.) The Character does not even look like Naruto.

Trust me folks.....this awesome Manwha is nothing like Naruto....not even a single bit.....since 13 years back till date I have been following Naruto......and I was looking for something to replace Naruto....and I found this manwha and that Manga called as Kingdom...

I have never gone through something so fast in my life, read 70 chapters in the span of just a few hours, staying up til 5am cause i couldn't stop reading! Disregarding all other factors, this is probably the most enjoyable manhua/manga/webtoon I have ever read.

As noted in other comments, the character art designs are similar to Naruto's style. I'll give it the benefit of doubt and just assume the artist really likes Naruto. If the visuals don't particularly bother you, then you're set.

On the other hand, the story-telling is not the best. The story itself is a typical Mary Sue Naruto Fanfiction that's been converted to its own world. That's not to say that the story is bad, but don't expect anything good until the author finishes showing off his uber main character/fanfic!Naruto expy.

There's just enough interesting stuff to keep me reading each update when it comes out, but good god, I'm just seeing bad Naruto fanfiction whenever I read this...and yet I keep reading.

Art styles are art styles the important thing is story telling and content.

As far as most rebirth stories tales of demons and gods is one of the best, even though the manga is a bit far behind the novel.

The main issue with the manga is the enormously awkward cliffhangers forced in every god damn chapter.

It's a good story, so it's nice to see a colored adaption.

I like the art. Contrary to the below comments, the only time when I really compared the art to Naruto was with the classroom in the first chapter. The artist also seems to make the story a more humorous.

My only complaint is that it gets wordy sometimes. It is adapted from a novel after all.

MC never loses

So what if it is similar in art to Naruto? Big whoop. This Manhua reminded me of Doupo Cangqiong, Shen Yin Wang Zuo, Douluo Dalu, Zui Wu Dao and Re: Monster.

WHY?

Because they have all have an underdog main character who gets treated like s**t. No only do they over come their limitations, they also gain great and loyal friends. It also doesn't hurt that they become OP in the process. I have high expectations for this manhua and i will continue to read it. I am not so petty as to judge the content because of the similar designs used in the art. I like to think of it as the artist complementing Masashi Kishimoto famous work, Naruto

The art is a ripoff of Naruto. It is completely unimaginative and they completely copied the classroom architecture and layout from Naruto. This just shows how unimaginative the artist is. However, if you don't care about it being a copy, then the art is indeed pretty good.

The manhua comes across much better than the novel because instead of telling you with horribly childish and bad random descriptions (everytime a girl appears in a scene there is a diatribe about her beauty, her clothes, or her boobs), the medium allows the artist to show it to you without having to draw attention to it. It really detracted from the novel when anytime any woman did anything they described how enchanting it was. We got it the fourth time, this is not needed every single time the character appears.

In regard to story,

if you like the main character who is the best at literally everything (has all knowledge, has ultimate cultivation power, has super sword skills, has super archery skills, have infinite money, etc.) then this is the story for you. The main character goes around making random associations no right minded person would make and is somehow always right, and he actively insults literally every adult who is not immediately charmed by his super power and becomes his servant. Another problem is one dimensional enemies who are evil for the sake of stupidity and somehow their whole family is also super evil even when some of them don't know that they are a crime syndicate. You'd think some of the children or others would have some childish morals but no they are also evil. So if all of these are fine for you, then enjoy this obvious power fantasy harem story.

I realize that the art style is similar, but please take my word for it (or read the light novel). It really is nothing like Naruto. The main character is shrewd and calculating, he never acts rashly without planning before hand either. The drawing style portrays him as far more childish then he his. His character is a bit closer to Itachi if I had to compare him with a character from Naruto. The image I have from the novel has him coming off with a far colder and more reserved attitude.

That being said, the manhua is currently (chapter 3) a word for word adaption of the light novel. I hope they stay with that. I really do not want to see something like what happened with Kuangshen or Douluo Dalu, where there are vast differences and watered down plot for younger readers.
