Tales of Demons and Gods

Sure it is antale of someone pverpowered, but idk why the plot makes it worth while, the best part for me are the chapters only being roughly 9 pages on average.

I also like to think due to how rich mc is, he is inadvertantly causeing prices to go sky high and making inflation a large issue in glory city. Idk why but i find that idea just a funny thought as an consequence to his actions.

If you want to see mc struggle tremendously, it starts at 290. I find that point is where mc is needing t9 do stuff in order to be of equal power to his enemies

Now, it's possible there are other cultivation stories that are worth reading, but I've tried dozens and given up on all of them but this one. Why?

Because the cultivation in this story clearly gets its power up from outside sources. It requires expensive materials and extensive knowledge, which requires leaving the house and actually having an adventure.

Do you know how many, Chinese especially, cultivation novels and graphic novels allow the character to conveniently level up by only looking into themselves? It's possibly the worst (most frustrating, least entertaining) way to power up a character that was ever thought of.

But, again, this story requires the characters to go and have an adventure and risk their lives in order to power up. And it's quite the adventure, too. The world building gets to be expansive and interesting.

The characters are solid, too. They often have personalities that are at least two dimensional, which, for an action adventure, more than works well. Some are even more developed than that.

The only real weakness is either translation-based or a result of poor terminology: you'll many times have "legends" being used for non-legend ranked people in backstories, so things get a little confusing at times.

A legend-ranked demon beast awoke to wisdom, becoming a demon lord. Then hundreds of legend ranked masters attack it, die, and anger it enough to kill off most of the continent's civilization. But, the MC says he should be able to kill the demon lord once he becomes a legend-rank. There is clearly a contradiction here if we assume the terminology used is correct.

Outside of that, I can't say I always like how the MC acts, but I can't say I don't like him overall.

Worth checking out, and the art impoves greatly over time.

Honestly TDG is kind of bit different than most cultivation novels (yes I read the novel first) though I saw manhua's pretty much faithful, given how much the author skips it's process and so you have what like a shonen series in overall. Honestly I find it fun and enjoying it actually, well until they start going out of tiny world and it scales up uncontrollably.

Anyway, it's on hiatus now so I had no whatsoever evaluating the whole series now. I have to admit however, it was quite a fun ride while it lasts. And if it is possible to see its end I woould love to.

The MC is a regressor who uses his past knowledge to power up himself and his friends while saving the world. The story is what you'd expect, but the execution is excellent, with endearing characters, badass MC, and many waifus.

To be honest, I Finished at first I wasn't expecting much since it's my first Manhua to read I was a spectacle but I pushed myself and gave it a shot, and oooh boy I read 300+ chapters in a couple of days and I want more this is everything I ever wanted the mc is smart cuz of course reincarnation which is something that I like and then the way ** SPOILER ALERT ** He trains his friends and takes advantage of future events and hidden secrets that other don't know of only in the future but he knows him this feeling of a smart mc dependable and actually really enjoying to read I suggest to give it a shot the world is so big in this its amazing.

Don't understand the hate but MC is sorta and sorta not OP, reincarnate with previous knowledge. He doesn't get OP THAT fast but a nice gradual speed. Story still has a lot to offer and its some of the better Chinese Manwha out there.

Please the art is good and like the characters, MC especially.

This manhua is so poorly written ...

but it is also so addicting because it is a stress-free, instant-gratification, power fantasy.

i.e. It's trash we enjoy reading

Avoid mad snails work. He can never finish any story.
The start was good but it goes downhill.
