    So they are multiple personalities, and it seems after the shock of the confinement they are starting to interact again.

    The panel with Melie's mother was... haunting. You know the artist is a master when they can transmit feeling with the eyes, the subtle changes in the expression... the pain man, I knew that Melie's "relationship" with her mother was horrible, but wasn't prepared for that expression.
