This is already hilarious without any real romance in this, and the heroine is kick-ass. I hope the teacher gets what's coming to him though! Although it would be cool for her to beat him just once...
it's not as funny as i expected it would be. first volume is awesome, while the following volumes are just so-so. too much fighting, too little romance. artwork is good, reminds me of junjou romantica,
I decided to read the first chapter as a preview what I was getting into. I died laughing at the end of the first chapter. With all the misunderstands that make this manga so funny, I recommend it to EVERYONE!!
I love the characters and I can't wait to see more development as I continue reading. Now, I got a lot of catching up to do....
it would at first seem like your typical "transfer student problem life" but is it better than that.
parts of it made me laugh out loud. the main character is pretty funny. (even during "serious" times)
yeah, there seem to be many lookalikes with all the characters...it seems as though the banchou is re-appearing (but he is not)
Oh, gawsh. I'm up to chapter 9 in this series but I just had to comment on how awesome it is. I had horrible expectations for it since I hated Tsubaki's "Magic Touch" for it's super-cliche, terrible dialogue and art. But after reading reviews here I had to give it a try.
Yes, the art has gotten significantly better, although Takaomi's head is unsettingly disproportionate to his shoulders at times, I have to say I've enjoyed the art.
The story so far is so-so, but super cute and SUPER funny. The first three chapters I was chuckling here and there, but chapter four is when the roflcopter came flying down. (Especially at the Craft Club scene with the macho men.) And now at chapter nine, I can't help but burst into uncontrollable laughter at Banchou.
Overall, I say you should try this out for a light read and a sore stomach from laughter. I'm looking forward to the rest of the story and seeing if hopefully a romantic relationship develops! Even if it doesn't, the comedy is enough to keep me reading.
This was -hilarious-. I especially loved Takaomi's character; the way he does things is just so terribly, hysterically evil. The protagonist wasn't annoying, and her type of character usually is; and I'm glad that there isn't this huge love triangle or anything. Actually, there's rather little romance in this, but it's so funny I don't mind at all. Definitely worth a read.
A tough, non-annoying heroine and a great story plot. It has the makings of returned and unrequited love twists without too much tears and whining. Every character has a great personality, especially the male protagonist. I never thought a gangster themed shojo will make me giggle, but this did.
I've only read until the 5th chapter but i got to say that this manga is very funny! Hayasaka-kun kept misunderstanding the female lead's intention. The sensei Takaomi is drawn much more believable than other student-teacher manga cuz he deifinitely look like a sensei who is a lot older than her. I love the female lead so much with her super funny imagination.. lol.. Will continue reading this!
this has got to be one of my favs. its sooo hilarious sometimes i just keep Lmao about it no matter how many times i read the same part~ XD
the characters all have great personalities and definitely ones you dont see in those typical shoujo mangas
and the art isnt too flashy but kept simple... i like it~ >;D
highly recommend it~ <3
I'm really liking this manga so far, i was a bit reluctant to read it (the synopsis doesn't seem amazing and the cover picture didn't grab mu attention) but i'm glad i did start reading it. One thing i like about the story it that the teacher guy actually looks like a teacher and not some pretty boy who you could easily muddle up with one of the students. Also the main character isn't too soppy or dense. The character development in the book is good too, you'll end up loving all the characters by chapter 4. I'm on chapter 6 and i'm routing for both guys ^^.
Wow. This went over and beyond my expectations. Its hilarious, yet serious at the same time. The relationship the teacher and the girl has is a major twist and it's just hysterical how the teacher bossesthe students around. Frankly, the teacher's character is very complex but this just increases his charm even more. The teacher really captured my eyes..
God. I was reading the latest chapters and I had to keep myself from bursting into laughter, since my parents were sitting across from me. This manga is so funny, great, has an amazing cast of characters, and the plot could've flopped, but the mangaka turned it into something utterly amazing.
The only problem is that sometimes I can't tell the difference between characters. 8'D since they're all such bishies~
