I suppose it's one of the MC's trait, but him being overly forgiving and merciful is kinda making the manga losing the oomph...

nah that actually caught me so off guard just after i thought i was happy with the ending the authour pulls this shit and gets me invested oncemore. dr stone isnt the greatest manga of all time but it never fails to pull you in with each and every chapter. we are SO back. cant wait to see more of this series as if even the spin off is something to go by, then this epilogue will be absolutely legendary.

Yeah. It kinda feels like Natsu is being a bit cocky & overestimating themselves. Most of the dragon gods they defeated were not only not at full power when faced against them, but they also had to weaken them. AND just like you said it was mostly all a team effort in actually taking them down

--- I SPOIL A LITTLE HERE, IDK HOW PUT THE BALISE ---

It's a great manga. It's true the last part was less interesting, and forced, they should have ended with the REGIMENT ARC, but it also brought something necessary for resolving all the "mysteries", and show us relationship and characters i was curious to know more about. I don't like the "glimpse of the future", in the end, because i prefer imagine it rather having everything on a plate.

The anime s5 who adapt this last arc was nice, but the animation was less good than before (more shortcuts like static images who move, more unnecessary censorship...), but i prefer the "original anime end". It's not really different, the result is the same. But i think it fits more the idea to see them 6 months later rather doing a years gap when you see everyone 10 years later, like in the manga.
