It is bi-monthly. So long for just one chapter; that may or may not be fun to read.
Sometimes it feels like an anime trapped in a manga.
Though I can over look that for its story, characters, and artwork.

The series had a great potential in the beginning.
It once had good humor, interesting fightings, unique characters.
But some of the latest chapters were quite disappointing.
The plot isn't moving on at all and the humor is getting shallow.
It was quite a simple but great entertaining manga but now I don't enjoy reading it at all.
Hope it will get better so I can edit this comment ^^

The Series has just about everything going for it except for the fact that a whole chapter will be spent for actions that can be done in a page. We don't need to see 4-8 pages of you zooming in on a building before you spend another 4-8 pages having a character slowly land. there is no reason for it. it doesn't further the plot, it isn't funny and its starting to get really annoying. I used to enjoy this series, now I'm finding it difficult to do so.

I'm looking forward to every new chapter. The art is excellent, the humor is good, characters are well designed. I weight this one far better than most manga. A recommendation to everyone.

I have a thing for the underdog, but when it's a hero who is actually really plain and fades in the background as easy as can be (like seriously okay look at Volume 2 cover, he's just IN THE CORNER--like lmao what are you doing there bro just suddenly hanging)--have we ever seen him embodied as much as THIS GUY RIGHT HERE? The main guy? The guy who's bald and who just is fantastically hilarious? First off: I love this unorthodox protagonist. He's finally the strongest and then--oh man, you realize how lonely it is once you've reached the pinnacle. What I'm interested in seeing now instead of his ascent to gaining power (which, while always lovely, is always overplayed and focused on too much in shounen manga), is how he deals with his own very average hero lifestyle, and how he'll break into this whole systemic society--like will anyone (important) actually realize his potential and how much he's effectively saved them all from getting screwed over time and again? Also with characters that do recognize his strength, it's interesting to see how really uninterested he is with dealing with them (they're like nuisances at best ahaha). ALSO I'm pretty interested in basically seeing superheroes in manga, okay. Best thing.

In terms of nightly_001's complaint about the drawing style not being as detailed as ES21: first off, consider that ES21 is a (somewhat?) realistic sports manga. Now look at what we're dealing with for this manga: Superheroes. And when we think of superheroes, we think of DC and Marvel, Superman, Iron Man, etc. And that's from the West. And they have a peculiar style of inking and drawing, one that this artist has most likely kept in mind. You want a suspension of disbelief, and layered with the fact that this isn't meant to be much of a serious manga, detailed drawings on everything would not really help the tone or feel of it. Sure, details make it hella funny when employed right (i.e. stuff like Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo), but on the general side, funny manga usually don't tell to have as much srs bzns details as serious manga, right? To be an artist means you also have to be versatile in your medium. The CG effects on the manga be a complaint, but think about it: at some points, we get slow frame by frame "shots", almost like watching it on a show or a movie, right? I think those are probably are to help that feeling. There's a reason for everything an artist does, and seeing as this artist is frigging kamikaze God in his ridiculous art skills imo (like seriously, Eyeshield 21, if you haven't read it, go do it) I trust his judgment. (Then again, this is just my two cents.)

This manga has been really amazing thus far. The plot gets better and better with each chapter, the art is mind blowing and most importantly the main character is freaking awesome and BALD(10/10), it can't get any better than this.

its hard to find a manga that is so funny, also its nice to see such a new look on protagonist, what sucks most when reading is that the leads are always the same and this is definitely fresh. Also with plot it seems to be perfect lately so many manga have had short endings because plot wise they are limited but in this one its easy to see that they can go anywhere,he is already at the zenith of power so they wont have the problem that bleach had where the manga revolves around power and once they run out of reasons to buff the lead it gets played out fast and boring.

This manga is amazing in my opinion. The artist has a unique style that creates feelings of excitement with every battle. But behind all the violence and gore, humor and anticlimax is a deeper element of emptiness. The protagonist is bored, disinterested, and is lazy. This is reflected in his design (very basic until he is excited and or annoyed). He has achieved his goal of being the strongest and yet the result is that he must struggle with knowing that no one can beat him. So, for me One-punch man is less about punching things into oblivion, and more about how the protagonist copes with no longer being able to get stronger in one way and learns how to be stronger in other ways.

To be honest this manga is something new to me because well you have a main character which pretty much OP which makes this so damn funny! The scenes in these are so awesome and it's also a gag manga so this is a win for me 😀

This manga is great. Haven't read anything similar to this before, it's definitely new, innovative and funny. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece yet given it's only 3 volumes or so, but it has the potential to get there.
