Narumi Rokurou, well into his forties, remains adrift in life, unmarried, and working as an editor at a publishing company while penning literary fiction that brings in little income. His days of enjoying life at his own pace come to an end one summer night. A strange twist of fate introduces him to a mysterious beauty, setting the stage for their intense love story. Uses his skills more strategically than brute force. No bullshit skills like "Slide" or "Sword Mastery" which prevents a clusterfuck of skills which should be learned and not just granted. Magic is much more flexible than typical fantasy stories. Obviously going to do a Dimensional Slash attack sooner or later. The clusterfuck of titles is gonna bug me if they show it though. Redundant titles are almost as annoying as trash skills. This story doesn't have the latter though.
No major story conflict yet. Just dealing with getting stronger and not dying. No deus ex machina ass pulling miracle so far either.
