Honestly this is the closest we'll ever get to a "Lord of the Rings" type of vibe in a manga, this arc feels like a real high fantasy journey... out of pretty much 99% of the isekai we have around this one is one of the S tier in my opinion.

I don't know why people are shitting on this but I'm always down for a nice standard love triangle. It isn't unique but a if it is well done I don't have complaints. The art is nice, the girl is hot, I'm cheering for childhood friend on this one because the black haired doesn't seem to be getting much character development. I feel like the author isn't developing her to be a good rival but just a cannon fodder to use for the love triangle. This could change though, only 20 chapters in, but it isn't even a decision right now. The MC, well, seems like a standard harem MC, this tends to be the case for most mangas that are similar at the beginning. I can only pray that he will become likeable as the story progresses.
