me who used to these slow updates manga that update like 5 times a year : "First Time?"

This series is really loaded with red flags:
- The main character of this series is a hypocrite, paedophile, incel, rapist, and misogynist.
- Normalising rape against women.
- Also, normalising paedophilia towards young women for either cheap laughs or "plots."
- Most of the antagonists are female.
- Most of the female characters are poorly depicted.
- The objectification of a women for men's short-term sexual gratification.
- Normalising homophobia and transphobia.
- Heavily relies on damsel-distress trope especially for female characters.

i think guns in fantasy manga are rad tbh. i get your point that it can ruin the setting but i don't think it's that extreme, because they're being compared to the potential of every mage carrying the equivalent of TNT on his person at all times

I have to admit, Hotaru is such a fantastic protagonist to be followed because of how active she is. She sets challenges to herself, following on what was told but also coming up with her own answer. Definitely a good character writing, also a girl which is rare in shonen

I mean the read from his friends before was that when he gets really interested in something he completely blocks out everything else, so it's possible

This is so silly I actually enjoy it.

Yet for some reason the manga and LN are still ongoing and it already have 2 seasons of anime and one more on the works. I wonder why?
