not really. in goblin slayer the goblins are at most monsters, not intelligent creatures with reason and logic. this has more parallels to tensura than anything else. the skills, the ability to improve skills, reincarnation(as far as i am aware goblin slayer doesnt have that), potentially building a society with goblins.  like i said, its not a 1:1 clone but its basically "hey dont make it look like you copied my homework" and all the dude does is change the name and 2 answers.

Going through all the troubles of creating some plot points to slow him down and completely throw it out anyway. Why even bothered with all that in the first place then? Also these 2 y/o leader things is just weird and hard to read, I don't know why it's so popular in manga. He's literally a toddler.
