Regular high-school boy Kaji Rikuo's life is abruptly turned upside down by the sudden appearance of a cute girl with cat ears named Vanilla. According to Vanilla, she was engineered from various animal mixtures, somewhat akin to a chimera, by her creator, Ibu Kiriko, who seemingly harbors a grudge against Rikuo. Baffled as to why anyone would seek revenge on him, Rikuo befriends the innocent and adorable Vanilla. However, Vanilla has a hidden danger; she can transform into a ferocious creature that could harm Rikuo with just a command from Kiriko.
