The story is bloated with “science but MAGIC!”-explanations. We’re 13 chapters and several curb stomps in but we’re still doing the “I challenge you to a duel cause I think you’re weak!”
I feel like the jumped the gun by showing the end of the story at the beginning, I really hate when authors do that, because now it's hard to read through the thousand chapters that lead to that moment.
It's not really one of those hype martial arts mangas either that you just scroll through and get the feelgood chemicals going.
Too heavy of a story and honestly I wish the "bad guy" would win this one. He won't though and we already know that.
The "main bad guy" from the martial arts alliance is also a boring villain compared to eye-patch bro.
So all in all the motivation to keep reading is minimal.
