UPDATE

So, I've given it another chance and force myself to got through because I got too much free time and out of manga to read. At this point I've reached chapter 96. My conclusion. It's bad. Like real bad. The author recycle plot from other top shounen manga's. Not even an ounce of originality. The MC use of his power is so crude. It's like a cavemen waving a katana around. There's no attempt to figure out a creative way other than jumping straight into enemies and poke 'em. And he stay that way until somehow he "awakens". Also there's a monster inside him (think naruto). This manga was written to squeeze the money out of fans of fairy tails and naruto. That's it. I bet the author just put a list of popular mangas in front of his and throw dice to pick which plot to copy.

Another cookie cutter shounen. I guess this kind of manga make tons of money in Japan. The MC is pretty much another hard working, dumb and get through everything through the power of his kind heart and FRIENDSHIP!

He have a hidden potential but he's not going to get it by being smart about it but he'll get it when the author decide to bless him with godlike luck.

In this kind of novel the smart one always get all kind of shiz thrown at them and had to use their own brain to get stronger while the dumb MC just plough through everything with his HEART POWAAAAAAAAAA! and get OP shiz.

I had a hard time deciding to drop this. It's not bad but it's not great either.
The characters are just not different enough from what I am currently reading. At one point I expected one of the characters to accidentally call the MC Naruto because that is what he mostly reminds me of, Naruto with a sword instead of his jutsu.
Those reading this are probably thinking that I am paying this MC a high compliment, so let me set the record straight. I already have Naruto, I don't need to waste my time on a wannabe copy.
So I say goodbye to this until I am desperate enough to return, because like I said, it's not bad, it's just not good enough to compete with what I am currently reading.

we have to understand that naruto came out years ago and also there are new mangas out there who wil be the naruto¡'s to the new generation, that's how life goes.

and talking about the story i like it, i mean the guys are poor and one is a good for nothing and the other one is special, the last chapters are interesting. and if u r going to say that it has elements of another stories then let me tell you that the magic mangas are a rip off of harry potter (it has houses, magic and magical animals),

just give it a chance, it's fair to say it won't be possible to find an original story.

so read it and give it a chance.

Let's be honest, it borrows a lot of elements from naruto (MC's personality, rival, objective, etc) and if you squint a bit, you could say the 'emperor' is naruto at the ending of the series.
It's not that much original and quite a bit cliche but still enjoyable, specially for the art and quite a few moments.

Oh look, Naruto-ish protagonist has the Imagine Breaker, living in roughly the world of Nanatsu no Taizai, mixed a little with Fairy Tail. Oh and he wants to be Hokage. And he has a rival who is the super duper elite prodigy (too many to reference).

And it's done far more cheesily than any of those series I just referenced.

God just shoot me now.

The amount of genki that the main protagonist possess should have turned me off this but just ike One Piece, the action moves fast, that it doesn't get drag into useless fluff. It might get boring in the future but right now it's quite an enjoyable read.

This kind of manga are right up my alley! I can't wait for it to get an Anime!!

I really liked the concept behind Magi, but that one is kind of disappointing. So I like that it is being implemented here, and there is more to it. All the characters in this one are pretty cool, and there isn't anyone I hate. Battles are cool and the drawings are perfect for it. Will definitely follow it.

This manga is pretty good. As I read some of the facial expressions make think of Bobobo-Bo-Bobobo. I hope this manga has a long run and possibly an anime in its future.

Take the rivalry of naruto and shoehorn it into a generic version of fairy tail. That about sums it up.

I don't see this going far beyond thirty chapters, because it's really not that good. The pacing is the worst of it, as it suffers from the usual case of a mangaka freaking the hell out because their work is in WSJ. It quickly becomes about nothing but action as everything that would give it some flavor, like characters and world building, are never given any time in the limelight.

This manga has so much potential. I agree with the comments below. This manga is going to become the next Naruto for this generation because of the typical shounen plot line that makes One Piece and Bleach the top dogs in the manga world.

The art does need some improvements, but like most mangas, the art will improve over time. Lets just hope that the author doesn't f**k up this manga like the author for Naruto. I'll give this a 8/10 because it has potential for something big.

This series has unbelievable potential and could possibly become one of Jumps biggest mangas. Black Clover and Boku no hero acadamia are ushering in a new age to jump with some of the biggest series ending.

Art: Not the best I've seen but the Artist/Author will get better over time.
Storyline: Potential to be on One Piece/Naruto Level

To start this manga of course has a great amount of potential and i see a lot of great qualities already for another good long running series. With naruto gone i really want a new series to step up to the plate and fill that void i guess and this might deliver. But of course it has to first get past all the haters that never try to give a new series a chance which is annoying. iTs still pretty early but i hope this lives up to what i think it can.

On a side note:Before i even read this all i heard was "this is copying naruto" or its "trying to be naruto" or other stuff and i have to say thats some bull. Yes this have a few concepts similar to naruto but naruto doesnt OWN those and isnt the first to use them. It doest just belong to naruto or any other series. Frankly im glad that a similar type of manga is even comming cause i did like and miss naruto and i do want more that can be as good. This, Boku no hero acadamia, Nanatsu no Taizai and a few others are series that im hoping will step up to the plate and take over especially since the other 2 big series will end soon as well.

Update: Man just an update on this, wow man it is getting reallly good. The world and story is really broadening out and im real excited about this. I can definitely see this series taking over if they give it a chance. Im already really invested in it.
