Gege's storytelling (post Shibuya arc) was pretty annoying too. Something happens? Flashback, here's why (Insert a bunch of guys talking in a room for exposition). How was he able to do that? here's how (binding vow excuse). That back and forth storytelling, and its repetitive use makes reading unenjoyable imo. My brain demands a linear kind of storytelling. By the time of the finale, I don't even care what happens anymore. I'm just reading to get some sort of closure from whatever that was.
