you realize that electrons are always in motion right? hence the uncertainty principle. Lightning is cause due to the breaking of the capacitance of the medium having the built up opposite charges (+ve or -ve ions), which is not a rapid but a slow build up, and thunder is the sound of that breakdown. So what's the opposite of lightning then? basically everything within the capacitance limit of the media. But as the comment above mine says, they refer to the lightning from greek mythology.
