PQ Angels

P and Q are two alien girls from the planet Fuiren, serving as bodyguards for their queen. When their queen goes missing, they travel to Earth in search of her. They attempt to blend in as ordinary schoolgirls, but their ability to transform into cockroaches and their frequent battles against monsters raise suspicions among the locals, particularly a neighborhood boy. PQ Angels enjoyed a reasonable amount of popularity. However, the series was ultimately canceled due to an unfortunate incident where Japanese publisher Kodansha lost seven pages of Takeuchi Naoko's manuscript. This event led to Takeuchi and her editor, Osano Fumio, leaving Kodansha to join Shueisha. Takeuchi mentioned that Toei Animation still had the manuscript for the series, making it possible for an anime adaptation to be produced.
