Hagemashi Ouji is quite rational, yet he develops a temporary obsession with the girls. He becomes fixated on their peculiarities and grows increasingly frustrated because it appears that he is the only one who notices, despite all his "proof." His determination to uncover the truth about the girls intensifies.
He has a strong aversion to insects, so he is terrified when P-ko lands on his lips. P-ko genuinely adores Ouji, but even if Ouji feels the same way, he doesn't express it. At a Christmas party, Ouji ended up under the mistletoe with P-ko... but he didn't kiss her until later, during an attack. Even then, the kiss was accidental, and immediately afterward, P-ko transformed into a cockroach, thoroughly horrifying Ouji.
