It seems that the game world the manga takes place in is hugely inspired by Trails of Cold Steel, which means this manga has several good things going for it. The Trails series is famous for its complex world-building, character development, political drama, power struggle, and great story telling. So far the manga has ticked all of the aforementioned traits. Common isekai tropes are kept to a minimum and more focus is emphasized on the world the characters live in. The pacing is perfect and it has managed to set up an interesting world worth reading. I pray this manga can keep going in the direction it's heading to. It might give rise to a very different kind of isekai experience that we're waiting for

Sprechor's set was really great. I audibly laughed numerous times. I can't help but root for them too. I also don't hate Nazutani as much as the people below me do. I think his arc is pretty cool honestly. Since when does manga have to be super realistic. Sure, anime and cartoons can resemble real life, but people need to remember they are more like charictures of people at times, or representing ideas or feelings. Numerous manga characters have had just as dramatic backstories if not more so.
