Inukami: a divine entity with a dog-like appearance that forms a pact with a powerful human handler to assist in the eradication of malevolent monsters and demons. Though Kawahira Keita descends from a lineage of skilled Inukami-handlers, he appears to lack the required talent and has thus been abandoned by his family. One day, he encounters an adorable Inukami named Yoko, who initially seems elegant, obedient, and beautiful. However, once their contract is formed, Keita realizes that Yoko is an unruly and mischievous Inukami that no one has managed to control. (Source: Seven Seas Entertainment) The first five volumes of Inukami! were published in English as individual volumes by Seven Seas Entertainment from October 28, 2008, to January 5, 2010. The same publisher also released the series in two omnibus volumes from November 9, 2010, to March 1, 2011.
