Keita is the male lead of the show. He often faces punishment from Yoko for his transgressions. Before she contracted with him, he had to promise loyalty, exclusivity, and submission to her, symbolized by a dog's collar he wears—a vow gift originally intended for Yoko. Yoko frequently gets him into trouble by teleporting him into public places without clothes, leading to arrests for indecent exposure. This has earned him the nickname "Ra-ou" (Naked King) among the city's perverts. Keita has considerable athletic skills, can create frog-shaped talismans from rubber for ranged attacks, and practices xingyiquan. However, a shinigami named 'Sea of Violence' remarked that his martial arts lack style. Despite his flaws, Keita is determined, usually fearless, and loyal to his friends and those under his protection.
