It doesn't really teach much about katanas though and when it does, It's information I already know or information I find pointless. Knowing a specific historical weapon's past is pretty pointless imo but knowing the tangible features and cultural use of oriental weapons are far more important to me. This manga does the former mostly which is probably why I lost interest.
The art is nothing like the cover and gives off a slightly older style instead. The story is mostly episodic with MC dealing with katana ghost problems one after the other and side characters appearing every once in a while to support.
Not much a fan of the doctor-saves-everybody trope (more of a Black Jack Ni Yoroshiku guy than Dr. Coto) but this is a lot of fun. And having an elite group of magicians consisting of Billie Eilish, Michael Jackson, Elvis, a Gallagher bro, some mod dude I can't identify et al lead by Anakin Skywalker helps a lot lol
