Reincarnation of: Shukaido. Haruhiko, unlike Sakura and Daisuke, does not see the advertisement in Boo! magazine. Rin encounters him in a uniform store and recognizes him. Haruhiko is overwhelmed with guilt over the terrible act he committed against Shion in his past life. Consequently, he complies with everything Rin instructs, including asserting that he is the reincarnation of Shion. This turns out to be a brilliant strategy. Through Rin's manipulations and their collective efforts to recall their moon memories, the other reincarnates start to fear Haruhiko and what he might be doing to them, despite Haruhiko not having taken any action against them. Haruhiko has a very weak heart, attributed to his excessive use of ESP abilities when he was younger. Haruhiko bears a physical resemblance to Shion because Shukaido was fixated on him at the time of his death.
