Zu Mei Chang is a metallurgist and Anti-Akuma Weapon manufacturer, as well as the Head Chef of the Asia Branch of the Black Order. He is Bak Chang's great-uncle. Previously, he was a distinguished magician within the Chang clan, holding a significant position and wielding considerable influence in the Central.
He served as a mentor to the younger Malcolm Leverrier and is one of the few individuals who address him by his first name, "Malcolm." Zu Mei Chang is also a culinary master and the mentor of Jeryy, the current Head Chef at the Headquarters. Although he was not directly involved in the 'Second Apostle Project,' he felt a sense of responsibility and would often visit the research lab's kitchen to oversee the proceedings.
