Back Story
Allen Walker is the central protagonist of the series. Abandoned by his biological parents due to the deformity of his left arm, later revealed to be caused by Innocence, he was found and adopted by a traveling performer named Mana Walker on Christmas Day. After Mana's death, Allen, driven by grief and manipulated by the Millennium Earl, inadvertently turned Mana into an Akuma. This act cursed Allen, leaving him with a pentacle scar on his left eye, enabling him to see the souls trapped within Akuma. His left arm, an Anti-Akuma weapon, instinctively destroyed the Mana Akuma, and his hair turned stark white from the trauma.
Allen later met Cross Marian, a General of the Black Order, who explained the nature of Akuma and their trapped souls. Allen became Cross's disciple for three years before joining the Black Order as an official exorcist. During this time, he endured Cross's irresponsible behavior and accumulated debts, leading to Allen developing various skills such as gambling and cheating, which he uses when necessary. Despite his polite demeanor, these experiences reveal a darker side to Allen.
Abilities
Allen is physically fit and skilled in combat, even without using his Innocence. He possesses circus abilities like juggling and acrobatics, learned from Mana. His synchronization ratio with his Innocence reached 83% before it was destroyed by Tyki Mikk. However, after overcoming his inner turmoil, Allen regained control and achieved his Innocence's true form, Crowned Clown. This Innocence takes on a jester-like appearance, covering his right arm and shoulder with energy while his left arm becomes armored and clawed.
When invoked, Crowned Clown provides body armor and can manipulate Allen’s movements, aiding in both evasion and incapacitation. Facing Tyki again, Allen's synchronization exceeded 100%, activating the Sword of Exorcism, capable of purging Akuma and even Noah genes from their hosts. This ability closely resembles the sword of the Millennium Earl.
Story
Inspector Levrier and Cross have referred to a "player," hinting at more than one. Allen harbors the consciousness of the 14th Noah, Nea, inside him, per an agreement between Cross and Nea. After being struck by Kanda's Innocence, Nea begins to awaken and gradually take over Allen’s body.
