Komui's younger sister and assistant Head Officer. Her parents were killed by an Akuma when she was very young. As an Accommodator, the Black Order took her from her only remaining family member, Komui, to Headquarters against her will. For three years, she was confined within the Headquarters, which felt like a prison. Due to a suicide attempt, she had to be restrained and tied to her bed. However, once Komui joined the Black Order, Lenalee became more comfortable in the organization. She once told Allen that her "world" consists of her friends and family; if anything terrible happened to them, she would be devastated.
Lenalee is an Exorcist whose anti-Akuma weapon is a pair of boots called "Dark Boots." When invoked, these boots significantly increase leg speed and strength. Besides great speed, she can also fly with her boots. Techniques demonstrated so far include:
- Onkyou no tougi: Otokase
- Suijou no tougi: Mizukase
- Enbu Kirikaze
- Shittsui no tougi: Tetsukase
After battling a Level 3 Akuma, Lenalee temporarily lost the ability to use her Dark Boots. It was later suggested that her Innocence might be the Heart of all Innocences. In chapter 153, she made a promise with her Innocence to become stronger to protect everything she loves. Consequently, her Innocence liquefied and fused with her blood, creating an enhanced version of her Dark Boots. After defeating a Level 4 Akuma, the boots transformed into red rings that stay on her legs until the Innocence is activated.
She is the first known Exorcist to develop this new type of Innocence, named "Crystal Type."
