zagato

Zagato served as the High Priest to Princess Emeraude and was Clef's right-hand man. Upon Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu's arrival in Cephiro, they learn that Zagato has captured Princess Emeraude, causing their world to crumble without its pillar. Zagato appears as a cold-hearted man willing to do anything to achieve his goals, showing indifference to the chaos in Cephiro. However, his true intentions remain unclear until the girls confront him.

It is later revealed that Zagato and Emeraude were in love, which caused the imbalance in Cephiro. He imprisoned Emeraude to protect her from being killed by the girls, as foretold by the prophecy.
