Yuuichi Ootori is Kyoya's elder brother. He appears only in flashbacks within the anime, specifically during close-ups of the family portrait, and is occasionally featured in the manga. After graduating from medical school, Yuuichi joined his father at the same hospital. According to Kyoya's explanation in the anime, Yuuichi is the natural heir to the Ootori companies due to being the eldest son of the family.
