Yuno Gasai harbors an obsessive love for Yukiteru, as evident from her diary’s name. Every ten minutes, her "Yukiteru" diary records his condition and actions, sometimes including personal commentary. Its primary weakness is its inability to predict Yuno's future unless it involves Yukiteru. However, when paired with Yukiteru's "Random Diary," their combined strengths compensate for individual weaknesses.
Intelligent, beautiful, and diligent—those who don't truly know Yuno might only see her model student persona at school. Secretly, she's infatuated with Yukiteru and will do anything to assist him. She can be quite clingy and enjoys stalking him. When threats arise against Yukki's life or their relationship, she becomes murderous, letting nothing obstruct her path. Yuno swiftly adapts to unexpected situations, acting decisively without hesitation. He discovers they include her parents, whom she accidentally starved, and another body matching Yuno’s DNA. Initially dismissed by Yukiteru, further investigation reveals that the Yuno he knows came from a parallel dimension where she won Deus's game but at the cost of Yukiteru's life. She then traveled to the story's dimension, killing this world's Yuno and taking her place beside Yukiteru. Before Aru can inform Yukiteru, Yuno kills him.
After a final confrontation with Mur Mur against Yukiteru and Ninth, she heads to a third world hoping to try again, trapping Yukiteru in an alternate reality. He breaks free, saves the third world’s Yuno before the first Yuno tries to kill her, talks her down, and the original Yuno commits suicide by stabbing herself, leading Yukiteru to become god.
