Yoshitsune, a brilliant strategist with a penchant for occasional perversion, holds the title of Rumble King and leads the Kansai Storm Rider syndicate "Trident." He challenged Ikki with the "Devil's Thirty Thirty," a stunt that usually involves jumping over the bodies of thirty-three teammates. In Ikki's case, he had to leap over Ringo, who was lying at the end of the track. During Ikki's first jump, when Agito tried to help by accelerating Ikki with a "Fang," Yoshitsune's Ram Jet Theory-based Regalia intercepted and completely nullified the Fang. Eventually, Ikki successfully completed the challenge, leading Trident to agree to collaborate with Genesis.
Yoshitsune now serves as an enforcer and tactician for Simca and Genesis. After Gabishi from Sleeping Forest was captured while attempting to harm Kazu, Yoshitsune took charge of his interrogation and torture. Following Sora's betrayal and Spitfire's death, Yoshitsune expressed sadness for his fallen comrade but decided that Trident would remain with Genesis. This decision was not out of loyalty to Sora but because it would be more beneficial for the stormriders of West Japan, represented by Trident, and aligned with his own desire to fight against Koragasumaru. According to Benkei, the only time Yoshitsune is truly serious is when he takes off his glasses.
