Ringo appears to be an ordinary junior high school girl, but she is actually the successor of the legendary Storm Riders team, Sleeping Forest. She is also the current Thorn Queen, one of the eight 'Kings' in the Air Treck (AT) world. Ringo harbors feelings for Ikki but has never had the courage to confess. She assists Kogarasumaru during crises while disguised as Croissant Mask. As a King Class AT user, Ringo aims to show Ikki the "fear" of flying through the air to prevent him from suffering the same fate as the last 'Wind King.' To this end, she once attacked him fiercely using her 'Thorn Regalia.' During their battle, she seemed to have complete control until Kururu Sumeragi intervened by installing prototype Bagram cores into Ikki's ATs mid-fight, allowing Ikki to match Ringo's skill. The fight ultimately ended in a draw, with Ikki carrying Ringo home. Afterward, Ikki left the Noyamano residence, but not before Ringo finally confessed her feelings and kissed him goodbye. Later, at the Tower of Tropheum, Killik revealed Ringo's true role as the leader of Sleeping Forest. Due to the final battle for the Sky King taking place in an environment with extremely dense air and a crushing atmosphere, Ringo's immunity to these conditions makes her the ideal warrior to protect the Sky Regalia. Ringo is often depicted as a warrior clad in armor, wielding a shield and sword, and adorned with wings made of blades. In these depictions, she is usually in a forest surrounded by fallen bodies. Her introduction remains consistent throughout the manga: "The Fruit of the Forbidden Forest Which Lures One into a Deep Slumber... Crazy Apple." This phrase plays on her name, as "Ringo" means "apple" in Japanese. It was revealed in Chapter 154 that Ringo, along with Mikan and Ume, are not Rika's biological sisters. A year after the formation of the original Sleeping Forest, Kilik disclosed that three unknown "gravity children" were staying with Rika, suggesting that Air Treck research continued elsewhere. In Chapter 174, Ringo is seen observing Kogarasumaru training for their B-Class match against the White Wolf clan and notices Hako conversing with a mysterious girl who had been seen with the Sora brothers in Chapter 163.
