Yasuyoshi Sano, known as "Aeon Clock," is an exceptionally intelligent and talented individual capable of creating the illusion of manipulating time through the Flame Road. Initially part of Spitfire's team, he later leaves to join Behemoth. After Behemoth's defeat, he aligns with Genesis, serving as Simca's advisor, counselor, and occasional chauffeur. He also assists Ikki and his team in a similar capacity.
Though typically serious, Aeon Clock often provides comic relief, with his homosexuality being a recurring joke. He shares a close bond with Mimasaka, who is the only one privy to his true self. Aeon Clock eventually reveals that he works under his father to obtain the Sky Regalia, though he harbors personal goals as well.
He later aids Spitfire in battling Sora and Nike while attempting to steal the Flame Regalia but is defeated and presumed dead alongside Spitfire. However, he resurfaces working for Genesis again and steals the Flame Regalia from Kazu.
