In Dragonball, Yamcha, the infamous desert bandit, initially opposed Goku but soon became his ally thanks to Bulma. Living in the desert meant he had little interaction with women. Whenever he met Bulma, he would blush intensely and freeze on the spot.
Yamcha's signature move was the Wolf Fang Fist. Executing this move involved striking his opponent with his hands shaped like claws, with his middle finger, ring finger, and thumb curled. His best friend is a shape-shifting, floating cat named Pu'ar.
In Dragonball Z, Yamcha left his bandit ways behind and joined the Z-fighters, becoming a student of Master Roshi. He developed remarkable ki control, showcased in his new signature technique, the Spirit Ball. With this move, he could guide a ball of ki in any direction using his middle and index fingers.
When the Saiyans, Vegeta and his henchman Nappa, first arrived on Earth, Yamcha was the first to die after Nappa planted the Saibaman. In the Android Saga, Yamcha was the first to encounter Androids 19 and 20 and was the second to be injured by them, following Yajirobe.
