Yakon is a character from the anime and manga series, Dragon Ball Z. His origins remain a mystery, but his home planet is known as Dark Star (Ankoku), a place enveloped in darkness that grants him the ability to see in the dark. Controlled by Babidi, Yakon is depicted as one of his most formidable minions, potentially intended for level 3, as Dabura suggests sending him to level 2 is too extreme. Yakon is a ravenous creature with an insatiable hunger, greeting the Z Fighters by asking which one he should eat first, even after devouring two messengers sent by Babidi just moments earlier. His power level is measured at 800 Kili, a unique unit distinct from the conventional scouters' readings. This is significantly weaker than Goku's power level of 3,000 Kili as a Super Saiyan, according to Babidi. Yakon possesses large, retractable claws in each forearm. The Supreme Kai describes him as one of the most feared beings in the universe and among the strongest in his part of the cosmos.
