A homunculus created by Koushaku Chouno, considered his finest work. Originally a type of hawk, Washio was tragically shot and killed by hunters, despite his species being legally protected. While gathering butterflies, Chouno discovered Washio's body and, feeling compassion, decided to transform him into a homunculus, offering him a new life. Unlike Chouno's other creations, Washio possesses remarkable combat abilities thanks to his natural talents as a hawk, demonstrated when he battles both Kazuki and Tokiko simultaneously. He can also morph his limbs to enhance his fighting capabilities. Ultimately, Washio is defeated in battle by Kazuki and Tokiko when Tokiko sacrifices herself to create an opening for Kazuki's lance. As he disintegrates, he pleads with Kazuki to protect his master Chouno.
