Victor was once the leader of the Alchemy Warriors a century ago. Initially, he used a standard kakugane until he sacrificed himself to eliminate the homunculus leader of that time. To save him, his wife Alexandria implanted Black Kakugane "I" into his heart. However, this power went berserk, leading Victor to kill everyone in the lab and critically injure Alexandria.
Forced to flee, Victor was pursued by both the Alchemy Warriors and a homunculus group led by his daughter, Victoria, who had unwillingly become a homunculus herself. Victor managed to destroy significant portions of both forces before escaping to Japan, where he encountered Chōno Bakushaku, who would later become Dr. Butterfly. They made a deal: Victor would share his alchemy knowledge with Dr. Butterfly, who in return would heal Victor.
After 100 years, the plan succeeded, and Victor reappeared during LXE's attack on Ginsei High School. He killed Kazuki by crushing the Sunlight Heart with his Buso Renkin, Fatal Attraction, which damaged Kazuki’s kakugane and triggered the awakening of Black Kakugane "III". This led to a fierce battle between Victor and Kazuki, but both eventually ran out of energy, forcing Victor to retreat.
He then traveled the world, absorbing vast amounts of energy from places like New York, Paris, and even the Arctic. Eventually, he was driven into the Pacific Ocean, where he evolved from stage 2 to stage 3. There, he battled Sakaguchi Showusei’s Buso Renkin, the Buster Baron, using the energy-absorbed corpses of ocean creatures to destroy it with his own Buso Renkin, the war-axe, Fatal Attraction.
Victor then confronted Kazuki again, who forced White Kakugane "II" into his body. This reverted Victor from stage 3 back to stage 2. As a last resort, Kazuki used the Sunlight Heart + to send both of them to the Moon.
