A 17-year-old alchemy warrior was tasked with handling a homunculus issue in Kazuki's town. When Kazuki attempted to rescue her from a homunculus (though she actually had the situation under control), she developed an attachment to him and used a kakugane to revive him, ensuring he would never be killed again. Tokiko is highly dedicated to her job, stating that she despises all homunculi, and even stopped attending school to improve her efficiency. This hatred stems from a traumatic event in her childhood when everyone in her school was either killed or devoured by homunculi, except for her. Consequently, she is almost always serious, which sometimes leads to awkward situations when she is with Kazuki and his friends. Later, she is assigned to attend Kazuki's school by Captain Bravo. Her battle cry is "I'll rip your guts out." True to her words, her Valkyrie skirt has torn many enemies apart. Eventually, she falls in love with Kazuki and stays with him at the end of the series.
