Shortly after Allen meets Arystar and recruits him as an ally, he encounters Tyki. Tyki leads a dual life: his "white side" is a carefree, playful man of Portuguese descent who enjoys traveling with humans and playing poker, while his "dark side" is a sadistic being with a thirst for blood, fulfilling his role as a descendant of Noah and thus one of the antagonists. Tyki and his group trick Arystar into a game of strip poker, winning all his possessions. However, Allen intervenes and plays against them, ultimately winning by using cheats he learned from years spent with Cross. Before leaving, Tyki gives Allen a pack of playing cards. The author hints at something amiss when it's revealed that Tyki's group possesses a piece of silver engraved with the name Kevin Yeegar, the recently deceased exorcist general. In their next encounter, Allen faces Tyki's Noah persona. After a brief conversation, Tyki leaves Allen to die from a heart wound inflicted by Tease, a flesh-eating butterfly-shaped golem, after destroying Allen's Innocence. Tyki scatters the same cards over Allen's body. Realizing Allen's name remains on the jail cell walls, Tyki, along with Jasdero and Debit, sets out to find Cross. Tyki's powers come from his ability to selectively interact with his surroundings. This allows him to become intangible, passing through matter like a ghost, or walking on air. Offensively, he can phase his hand into opponents' bodies and manipulate their organs without leaving external wounds. He can also reject space around a chosen area, creating a vacuum to suffocate his enemies. Tyki often combines his abilities with the flesh-eating Tease golems given to him by the Earl of Millennium. The Tease can multiply, swarm, change shape into shields or throwing blades, and consume his enemies. Tyki is responsible for the deaths of several exorcists, including Kevin Yeegar, one of the five exorcist generals, and others such as Suman Dark, Tina Spark, Gwen Frere, Sol Galen, Kazanna Reed, Chakar Rabon, and Daisya Barry.
