Tsubaki Kasugano is a maiden and the figurehead of the Omekata religion. Her "Thousand League Eyes" diary differs from other diaries as it takes the form of a scroll, not a cell phone. True to its name, it can reveal the future of all her followers. Unlike Yukiteru's diary, which is limited to his surroundings, Tsubaki's diary can foresee events far away, such as Yuki's distant accomplishments. It also captures short-term futures occurring just seconds from the present, giving her vast amounts of information. However, this can be a hindrance in rapidly changing situations or when quick reactions are needed.

Born with poor eyesight, Tsubaki could only see a few feet ahead. Her parents exploited this by presenting her as an "oracle," creating a cult around her. After their death in a car accident, she became a victim of the Omekata cult, enduring abuse and rape by its members. These experiences left her disillusioned with the world beyond her vision, longing for its disappearance. She desires Yukiteru's abilities to avoid a dire prediction about herself. Since she can control her worshippers, Tsubaki does not use weapons.

When Yuki and Yuno time-travel to alter the next world, their actions prevent Tsubaki's parents from taking their fatal car ride. This stops the cult from becoming malevolent, sparing Tsubaki from her tragic fate.

She is named after Proserpina (Persephone), the Roman goddess of the Underworld. The characters of her name mean "Spring" (春), "Day" (日), "Field" (野), and "Camellia" (椿), respectively.
