After his change of heart following Creed's murder of Saya, he works as a sweeper alongside Sven and Eve.
He always wears a bell around his neck to remind him of what he once was and could become again. In the manga, he already has the bell from the first book. In the anime, Eve gives him the bell from the fable of the Black Cat.
His gun, Hades, was custom-made for him by Chronos. He also has a soft spot for women and children, especially when they shed tears.
