An honor student at Jun's school, Tomoe is known for her quiet and kind-hearted nature. However, her speech and style tend to be very dry, often masking her true feelings. Originally, Tomoe was Hinaichigo's medium, but their bond was broken when Hinaichigo relied too heavily on Tomoe's energy and was subsequently defeated by Shinku. Nowadays, Tomoe assists Jun with his interactions with the Rozen Maidens and helps him catch up on his schoolwork.
Before their connection was severed, Tomoe and Hinaichigo shared a bond as close as siblings. In Rozen Maiden träumend, before Hinaichigo loses her Rosa Mystica, Tomoe reflects on all the good times and memories they shared, expressing gratitude for Hinaichigo’s presence. Shirosaki mistakenly identifies her as Jun's girlfriend.
Tomoe has been learning kendo from her father since she was young and is an active member of the kendo club at school, often seen carrying her shinai after classes. She also reluctantly serves on the school committee.
