hinaichigo

Medium: Tomoe (First Season), Jun (Indirectly) Artificial spirit: Berrybell The sixth doll, Hinaichigo is the very embodiment of childishness. Despite her naivety and occasional selfishness, she always has the best intentions for those she cares about. Her personality contrasts sharply with her power, which involves using strawberry vines to restrain opponents. In the Alice Game, she is defeated by Shinku, becoming the first doll to lose the ability to become Alice. However, this defeat does not come from a direct confrontation; rather, Hinaichigo exhausts the energy of her medium, Tomoe. Shinku warns Hinaichigo that continuing the fight would kill Tomoe, prompting Hinaichigo to renounce her tie with Tomoe. Although victorious, Shinku does not take Hinaichigo's Rosa Mystica but instead acts as an intermediary so Hinaichigo can draw energy from Jun. In the latter half of Rozen Maiden träumend, with the Alice Game in full swing, "Father" severs this link. When Hinaichigo uses up her remaining energy, she loses her Rosa Mystica to Shinku, making her the second doll to lose it. In the manga, Hinaichigo is taken from Jun when Odille Fosset, granddaughter of a previous owner, arrives at the Sakurada home with a ring that belonged to Hinaichigo. Though Jun allows Hinaichigo to choose where to stay, she unconsciously ends up with Odille. Upon waking, Hinaichigo finds herself confused in Odille's room, recognizing it as Odille’s grandmother Corinne’s room. Shortly after, Hinaichigo is destroyed by Kirakishou, who consumes her from the inside out using rose vines. Before being consumed, Hinaichigo sends her Rosa Mystica to Shinku through Berrybell, asking Shinku to use it to end the Alice Game. Hinaichigo’s favorite foods are strawberry daifuku, which she calls "unyuu," and Nori’s "Hanamaru Hamburger," a hamburger patty topped with a fried egg shaped like a flower. She adores the puppet detective Kun Kun, though not as passionately as Shinku. She loves drawing, often shown in both seasons of the anime and the OVA. She usually ends her sentences with "na no," meaning "that's why" or "because," complementing Kanaria’s "kashira," meaning "I wonder" or "maybe?" In the anime, Hinaichigo’s singing and her arguments with Suiseiseki are ad-libbed by her voice actresses.
