The younger sibling of Daniel J. D'arby, Terence serves as DIO's butler and is the first among his Stand users to be encountered within DIO's mansion. Known for his prowess in video games and his passion for collecting puppets, Terence challenges Jotaro and Kakyoin to a gaming duel.

His Stand, named Atum after the Egyptian deity, takes on a robotic humanoid form. It possesses the unique abilities to steal souls and discern falsehoods.

Following his strategic defeat by Jotaro, Terence spirals into a state of despair and terror over his loss. Subsequently, he suffers physical retaliation from Star Platinum, which sends him flying away, thereby allowing Jotaro and his companions to progress further into the mansion.
