hiyama takao

Takao Hiyama is an instructor at Yuki's school and has been identified as the serial killer operating in the area. Little is known about Takao's personality, as he only had four lines of dialogue in the series, all related to discovering and being surprised by Yukiteru. He possesses the Third diary. His "Killer" diary logs the location of his next target. This diary could be advantageous if one knew the identities of the other diary owners and aimed to take a proactive stance in the game, but it offers limited utility otherwise.

When hunting, Takao dresses in a heavy trench coat, complemented by a hat and mask to conceal his identity. His weapon of choice is a large machete. Interestingly, he is named after Vulcan—the Roman god of blacksmithing.
