Her memories have been altered to enable her to engage in battles without any emotional attachment. Due to her modifications, she can rapidly transition from being calm and happy to panicked and frenzied. She was conditioned to fear the concept of death, and even the slightest hint of potential demise triggers a panicked rage. Only Shinn Asuka or Neo Roanoake can soothe her when she is in such a state.
