Skiadrum was a Dragon known as The Shadow Dragon, and he served as the foster father to Rogue Cheney. Skiadrum imparted to Rogue the knowledge of Dragon Slayer Magic—a form of Magic once believed capable of slaying Dragons themselves—endowing Rogue with his own unique traits.
However, Skiadrum eventually grew ill and made a request of Rogue: to end his life, thus bringing his existence to a close.
