When first introduced in the manga, she works part-time at a store called Mamurasaki Sports. However, she later quits her job to dedicate more time to her team, a fact that is not mentioned in the anime. Simca's goal is to gather all the Kings and their Regalia to conquer the Trophaeum tower and obtain the Sky Regalia. She takes a particular interest in Ikki, whom she believes is destined to become the legendary Sky King. Ikki has idolized her ever since he watched her ride AT through his neighborhood. Despite protests, she convinces Ikki to take leadership of Genesis after Kogarasumaru's victory over Behemoth. Her interactions with Ikki eventually draw the ire of the new Sleeping Forest team, led by Ringo. Simca also seems to have a romantic interest in Ikki and does not hesitate to let him grope her breasts. Although Ikki shows no objections and appears to have a crush on Simca, Ringo always intervenes to prevent things from escalating. After the defeat of Behemoth, Simca undergoes a significant character change, which Spitfire soon notices. In later chapters, Simca cuts her hair short, and her usual carefree attitude as 'Migratory Bird' fades, especially concerning matters related to Ikki. She repeatedly tries to get Ikki to formally sign on as head of Genesis, but he refuses, even calling her his 'enemy,' which brings tears to her eyes just before she is attacked. Her most recent appearance was on Nike's ship, where he aggressively expresses his sexual attraction to her by sexually assaulting her, and she plays along. Shortly after, she prays for Kogarasumaru's safety. Simca is seen meeting with Ringo and Kururu to give Ikki the way to enter the gram scale tournament since they were disqualified. Ikki asks her out for a "date" once the tournament ends, telling her to meet at the place where he first discovered ATs and saw her. During the meeting, she hopes to get a kiss from Ikki. After boarding back with Nike and Sora, she says she likes him so much because of his ability to appear strong in small moments and is seen crying tears of happiness. Simca was one of the first-generation Gravity Children, along with Spitfire, Kilik, Sora, and others. She is also Kilik's twin sister. In the extras of Air Gear Volume 3, the author reveals that Simca had a very different initial character design, featuring a tank top, long arm gloves, pants, and differently shaped goggles before her final image.
